MY FAVOURITE PLAYERS

MICHAEL MIFSUD Michael is a Maltese international striker who joined the Sky Blues from Norwegian side Lillestrom in January 2007. His pace, energy and eye for goal have already made him a firm favourite with the Sky Blue Army.

ANDY MARSHALL Out of all the goalkeepers to have played between the sticks for the Sky Blues in recent years, Andy is certainly the one I have the most faith in. On quite a few occasions during the 2006/07 season, he was the player who's performance did the most to keep City in the game. Andy was named Player of the Season for 2006/07 which in my opinion was well deserved for his solid performances and consistency.

KEVIN THORNTON Kevin is a product of Coventry's Youth Academy and in my opinion is our best midfielder. He always gives 100% effort, has pace and has the ability to score. Sadly, Kevin missed quite a few games during the 2006/07 season due to injury, but is certainly in Iain Dowie's plans for the future as he signed an extension to his contract in May 2007 which will keep him at City until 2009.
